Established in Melbourne in 2019, Panda Online is an online international resale and distribution subsidiary of Hong Kong Scan Hero (which was born in Hong Kong in 1999). This part of the Scan Hero family was made following the fascination and high demand of Australian products in the Asian market, and our CEO's love of Melbourne.

Our CEO had a mission, and that was to bring the unique quality of flavours and health benefits of Victoria, Australia to the world.

This mission began with simply bringing goods from Australia into China (made easier more recently), but we now have our eyes on the global market, with online stores set up on international platforms including (but not limited to), Douyin, Amazon, AliBaba, TaoBao, HKTV, as well as creating our own international website domains.

We focus on bringing food, beverage and health products from Victoria, Australia into the International market by carefully choosing our products of interest based on the most current and accurate overseas trends of market demands that are also specialties of Australia.

We â€‹began our mission with a focus on the Chinese market, due to having advantages of a team of Chinese locals set up in our Shenzhen office who provide us with the most accurate information about the current market in China. Our Shenzhen office is located very close to our international warehouse, which is over the bridge in Hong Kong, but we also store goods in the Douyin and Amazon warehouses for our stores on these platforms, which are located in mainland China.

We also opened up an American liaison office with prospects to expand into the American market and provide closer access to the European, North American and South American markets.

In 2020, Australia withdrew a lot of their exports from China due to the financial strain of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the struggles with the imposed tariffs on Australian goods arriving in China. Which China had responded by writing up a trade deal with Australia to remove tariffs on all Australian goods by the end of 2024.

As of March 2024, tariffs have been removed from 91.6% of Australian goods that arrive in China, and Australian citizens are permitted 21 days of Visa-free travel into China.

As of July 2024, all remaining tariffs on Australian goods (including wine) were removed.

In October 2024 we launched our Douyin store (China's TikTok) with a range of Australian plant based milks and health supplements.

In November 2024 we expanded into two new international markets, opening an Amazon Japan store!

In January 2025, Panda Online have put forward an ambitious goal to expand into the European market and to launch our Amazon UK platform (with Remote Fulfilment to Europe)!

In February 2025, Panda Online obtained a wine exporting licence and have started planning our launch of our very first wine range!

In March 2025, Panda On Wine and Australian Wine by Panda On Wine have been announced as our new wine range with a fresh new logo and trademark. We aim to officially launch Panda On Wine products by June 2025!

This makes way for a massive opportunity for Victorian and Australian businesses eyeing the Asian market and wanting to take the next steps in entering the international marketplace.

Our Onboarding Process

This is our step by step process of onboarding new suppliers.

Whether we meet, Panda Online Reach out or your business reaches out via email or our Suppliers Application Page , this guide will help understand and keep track of your onboarding experience with Panda Online.

1

Market Research

Panda Online will conduct new or compare with our existing market research to see if your products fit the market demand.

If we determine that yes, your business's products are
suitable of the specific target market, we move onto step 2!

2

Request for unit/wholesale pricing & MOQ

If after conducting market research we determine your product is suitable, we then request the unit price lists and MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). In this step, it is advised to include any discounts on larger orders to help Panda Online further determine suitability.

3

Confirm with our Team

After receiving MOQ/Pricing, our team will then discuss if your business's pricing & MOQ are suitable and sustainable for the specific target market & platform we are focusing on.
If it is determined that it is, congratulations, we now progress to step 4!

4

Certification Documents

At this point, Panda Online will now request a certification document, which is a signed agreement authorising Panda Online to be able to sell products using your branding and as an authorised reseller. A template & guide will be provided via email.

Please note: No exclusivity required for this Certification

5

Submit Certification

Once we have received your signed certification document, we then submit this to the agreed upon online platform in the agreed upon market pending their approval.
We will also request any marketing material, product videos & product images to help with listing products.

6

Place First Order

As soon as certification is approved, Panda Online will place our first order! We will then arrange pick up of our order and immediately transport it to our logistics partner for immediate shipping via sea freight.  We request that your business provide all relevant exporting documents (such as Certificate of Origin, Health Certificate) alongside our Final Itemised Invoice and Waybill.
